We’re looking for an HR Team Advisor to join Team Snapchat! This role is responsible for aligning our team’s strategy to help the business achieve strategic and operational objectives. Working from our office in Odessa, Ukraine, you’ll work on strategic initiatives such as designing organizational structures to more routine administrative tasks such as responding to inquiries regarding benefits or payroll.
What You’ll Do:
• Carry out our People processes to attract, develop, and retain employees
• Maintain and update the company’s organizational chart, headcount information, and employee files
• Ensure HR policies are communicated, followed, and in line with local requirements
• Reinforce our cultural values of kindness and hard work
• Influence and manage key stakeholders to ensure employee and business needs are exceeded
• Provide insight and analysis on the People team’s various plans and objectives
• Partner with the talent acquisition team to ensure the right people are hired
• Utilize performance, development, and succession planning processes to help achieve the company’s goals
• Provide counsel and guidance on people management and development
• Organize and implement training and development programs that meet the goals and objectives of both the broader team and our employees
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with and between managers and employees
• Handle investigations when necessary
• Remain up-to-date on local employment legislation and compliance
• Ensure equitable pay for performance is in place as well as a competitive benefit package that takes care of our people
• Work with the payroll team to ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
• Assist in local recruitment efforts, in conjunction with the global talent acquisition team
What we're looking for:
• Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in a HR Business Partner role
• Prior experience in performance management, organizational design, recruitment, immigration, employee relations/coaching, compensation, benefits, and employee communications
• Knowledge of local employment law in the Ukraine is a must. Knowledge of basic country labor law and practices in other major CIS countries is ideal
• Strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence and communicate with all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Docs
• Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• A detail-oriented individual with strong problem solving and decision making skills
