Responsibilities
• Responsible for development of themes, topics, guests and all content ideas and proposals for the shows assigned
• Watch programming content and create new or current concept alternatives for the General Entertainment Genre on the style of the program or project assigned to.
• Organize, plan and structure tapings following up from pre–production to post production
• Logging: visualizes and obtains time codes for editing in Post Production.
• Gives ideas and coordinates with the Graphics Dept the creation of elements to enhance each project.
• Direct voice over talents with dubbing & lip-sync.
• Select music and/or create music montages to be used with projects.
• Supervise the montage- direct creative editing in the on-line/off-line suite and audio post- production.
• Pre-edit and edit the projects on AVID on Final Cut
• Final technical quality control (audio mix, video levels, graphic elements, final dubs and general technical specs.)
• Direct on-location video shoots.
• Manage and track pertinent assigned budget elements to the project.
• Develop and maintain contacts within Telemundo Networks, Mun2, NBC Universal and outside vendors
• Keep a reel of all productions that have been produced by him/her
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in TV production, cable TV and Post Production
• Experience in studio and EFP shoots for TV as well as in managing small and basic units of production

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in TV production, cable TV and Post Production
• Experience in studio and EFP shoots for TV as well as in managing small and basic units of production
• Experience with AVID, Final Cut, and non-lineal based editing systems, and knowledge of audio programs like Pro-tools & Vegas.
• Basic directing experience of talent in video productions.
• Ability to prioritize work and multitask over a wide range of responsibilities, often under tight and changing deadlines. Tem player
• Must be creative and resourceful.
• Proficient written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

• Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be “on call” 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
• Must be fluent in Spanish and English (speak, read & write)
• Must be willing to facilitate personnel requirements including late and/or last minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
• Must be available to work (whenever necessary for show production) early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and natural disaster emergencies.
• Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.
• Ability to work regular hours.
