Responsibilities
Setting the Scene
There is no production without post production. The team is responsible for StudioPost’s Picture and Audio Post Production Operations, including dailies processing, color correction, composting and much more! By working together, the team provides excellence of service while optimizing the cost of service delivery and enabling scalable operations solutions.
This position is responsible for Episodic TV Post work order and prebilling execution for Episodic TV Post projects. Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working in a Post Production Facility, with specific, proficient knowledge of Episodic Television Post processes; from dailies to final air deliveries and file based workflows. he candidate must be a team player, work well in a technical atmosphere, possess effective listening skills and take direction well. Having the ability to effectively switch gears quickly, and possessing a strong sense of urgency are essential. Experience with Xytech MediaPulse is a plus. This position will report directly to the Manager, TV Post.
Mic Check
•Accountable for work order processing from creation to billing, ensuring project work orders are completed to meet/exceed customer expectations. Scheduling process steps include (but are not limited to):
•Upon assignment of each project, create work orders accurately and completely (following specification requirements) and submit work orders in a timely manner to Operations when materials are ready for processing.
•Responsible for tracking and reconciling billable hours/services on each work order on a daily basis, adhering to the approved budget.
•Generate and process purchase orders as needed.
•Keep Project Manager and Manager informed of any issues and questions regarding sessions, creation or fulfillment of orders and pre-bills as soon as they arise.
•Use SAN viewer to retrieve files paths for sources that are to be used for work orders.
•Create shipping requests as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements

•At least 3 years recent episodic post production experience
•Demonstrated understanding of episodic post-production concepts, technologies and ordering process
•Must possess effective listening skills and take direction well
•Ability to handle an established volume of work orders with consistent accuracy
•Adaptability to changing priorities
•Ability to remain calm under pressure situations
•Microsoft Word and Excel efficiency is a must
•Ability to work as a team player and in a professional manner is necessary.
•Must be willing to join the OPEIU Local 174 Union
