We are currently seeking a Project Manager to manage the end to end delivery of small to medium business initiatives from inception to close down. Reporting to the Head of Programme Management Office, the Project Managers’ responsibilities will include managing the early inception and initiation of projects with business owners, defining the project approach and estimating the project delivery with subject matter experts.

Key deliverables:
• Managing the end to end delivery of the project, ensuring alignment to business objectives and benefits with accountability for the project’s successful completion (budget, schedule, quality)
• Supporting project success and achieving business benefits with a correctly structured and resourced project delivery team
• Managing the involvement of Pearson stakeholders in project delivery, building a single team of business and technology resources and supporting their participation in the definition and acceptance of the solution
• Adopting and contributing to the development of Programme Management practice and defined project management methodology
Qualifications
• Solid experience Project Managing end to end delivery of small to medium business initiatives
• Experience managing small to medium-sized cross-functional teams
• Managing and tracking the project budget and costs
• Proven track record of negotiating with and influencing senior level management and stakeholders
• Identifying and implementing change management
• Risk and issue management
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
• You will be an open communicator, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
• A strong academic grounding and Education industry experience is preferred but not essential
• Ideally you will hold PRINCE Practitioner or equivalent certification
