Responsibilities
Role Summary:
The Editorial Production Assistant for Access Hollywood is responsible for supporting the producers of the shows as needed, and for logging all materials as requested by Manager.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist producers in locating and obtaining footage and soundbites.
Assist producers in the field on shoots, as required
Assist producers in setting up segments, as required
Participate in social media strategies, as required
Log other materials as needed by the producers of the show.
Verbatim transcription of Access Hollywood field tapes/incoming feeds.
Screen various network shows & synopses.
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum 2-year experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
50 WPM on typing desirable
Eligibility Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older
Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Must have ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings due to news cycles and breaking news.
Desired Characteristics:
To be successful in this position you must be a total entertainment/pop culture fanatic, and have a complete grasp of all aspects of social media, television, film and music.
Strong interpersonal skills -- with a demonstrated ability to work with others efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure situations -- are required.
The ability to work with the other PAs in a team-oriented environment, often with minimal direct supervision is essential.
Excellent attention to detail and a desire to learn and master new skills is a must.
Strong typing skills are required.
