Senior Character Artist– Visceral Games
THE CHALLENGE AHEAD:
As a Senior Character Artist at Visceral you’ll focus on character sculpting and modeling for a Star Wars title. You’ll create a large number of diverse characters and will be working alongside Visceral Studio designers, artists, animators and engineers to create a cast of highly detailed characters.
What you will be doing at Visceral
• Sculpt high-resolution character models.
• Create clean, lower-resolution game topology, UV’s, and textures.
• Collaborate with animators to create characters that can move and perform believably.
• Collaborate with concept artists to revise and improve designs.
• Provide specifications and written feedback to external vendors who will be supplementing the character creation efforts.
Who you are:
• You are a gifted Character artist with exceptional game/film character modeling experience and proven ability to model photorealistic characters.
• High proficiency with creating 3D detailed characters to scale with accuracy.
• A resume and portfolio that reflects above.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to meet project deadlines.
• Good aptitude for problem solving and self-starting with the ability to work with minimal direction.
• Team player with a tremendous attitude.
• Expert knowledge of Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop. Mari, Substance and other painting software a plus.
