Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Affinity Sales and Partnerships will actively support SiriusXM's effort to acquire customer leads for new owners of used vehicles with inactive satellite radios, with the goal of marketing trials to subsequent owners. This individual will identify and assess sales and business opportunities with potential partners in the automotive service/repair, insurance, warranty, finance and related businesses. For viable opportunities, s/he will support the Vice President, Affinity Partnerships to build business case for approval, and work with colleagues in Legal, Finance and Privacy to finalize contracts.
Candidates must have strong sales and business development skills. This individual will need to be self-directed in identifying opportunities, building a pipeline, and executing the full sales life cycle, from the initial outreach through the signing of the contract. That will include identifying and engaging new prospects, understanding partner needs, developing pitch decks, working with operations and marketing to present viable plans and processes, and closing deals. This individual will report to the Director, Affinity Partnerships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Research and identify sales opportunities by emailing, calling, prospecting, and following up with all sales leads and potential partners assigned, as well as contacts of your own
• Develop relationships with prospective companies in the automotive service/repair, insurance, warranty, finance and related businesses to better understand their needs and what SiriusXM can do for them
• Drive all phases of the sales lifecycle: identify and develop leads; qualify the leads; understand partner needs; meet with partners; develop the value proposition; structure deals; negotiate deal points; negotiate contracts; and close
• Maintain current, accurate and complete records on all prospect partner interactions in which he or she participates in our sales database
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to get agreement on contract terms
• Travel to attend conventions and meetings at partner sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications:
• BS/BA degree (or equivalent combination of education/experience). Degree in business, marketing or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 8-12 years of experience with a strong sales, marketing orientation and business development background.

• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowlee of MS-Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
