Food Network Magazine (FNM) seeks an Associate Director, Marketing Solutions whose role will span two functional areas. The Associate Director, Marketing Solutions will write, develop, and execute proposals and programs that meet the needs of advertisers in order to exceed advertising pages/revenue goals. The Associate Director, Marketing Solutions will also be fully responsible for assigned Food Network Magazine event(s) and project management of those event(s).
Job Responsibilities
• Respond to all assigned RFPs
• Workdirectly with assigned sales reps, as well as counterparts at Food Network and Foodnetwork.com on integrated proposals/programs
• Provideadded-value and ideation to meet clients’ objectives
• Oversee programs once it has been sold ensuring that the clients’ brand, Food Networkbrand and the program is properly represented and executed. This includes recipe development, photo shoot supervision, etc.
• Work with production team, fulfillment companies, creative services and other internal personnel to ensure the timely delivery of client assets and work directly with clients to obtain approvals
• Supervise FNM event(s)to ensure seamless integration of advertiser(s)
• Work directly with event production vendor to ensure contracted obligations are met and budget adhered to
• Accompany sales reps on sales calls with marketing/eventsfocus
• Ensure the assigned event and integration adheres to Food Network brand guidelines, including approval on food and recipe development if applicable
• Participate on sales callswith details of assigned event(s)
• Create event wrap up report on assigned event (both overall event and client specific)
• Work with creative on all eventsignage and promotional material as well as in-book promo and wrap-up page
Key Requirements
The Associate Director, Marketing Solutionsmust be a team player with a client service orientation who will work effectively with the sales and marketing staff. Creative strategizing and organizational skills are essential, as well as strong written and verbal communication. Attention to detail is necessary to manage event execution(s) from timelines to budgets. Knowledge of print and digital advertising is essential. Working knowledge of broadcast advertising and passion for food/entertainment a plus. Candidate should have 4+ years marketing experience at the manager and/or director level. Candidate must also have demonstrated experience with special events, coordinating, managing, and executing.
