Summary
The Organizational Development Advisor participates in the talent development within the organization through succession management and the monitoring of high potential individuals. The incumbent also oversees change management as well as the implementation of best practices and processes in human resource management.
Responsibilities
The main and routine functions of this role are:
• Project management (planning, organization, monitoring of deliverables), change management, communication and monitoring of KPI’s for organizational development initiatives (succession management, recognition of internal contributors, mobilization survey, etc.) in collaboration with stakeholders;
• Lead the identification of key positions/professions in production, identify potential talent and create competency based profiles as part of the overall approach to succession management;
• In collaboration with Talent Development Advisor, establish and implement a strategy to develop skills and leadership competencies for new leaders and for the succession of key organizational roles;
• Act as an internal analyst for the MPO psychometric test, share test results with individuals as well as implement activities that consolidate and build teams;
• Know and put into practice best practices in human resource management by participating in external OD development groups as well as conducting internal and external comparative analyzes to propose new approaches that takes into account the company’s culture;
• Carry out all other related tasks.
Qualifications
Training
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or equivalent.
Master’s degree in Organizational Development is considered an asset.
Relevant experience
5 – 10 years’ relevant experience in organizational development.
