We have an opening for an experienced, innovative, strategic Sr. Technical Program Managerin our Seattle, WA office. Does this sound like you?
Reporting to the Sr. Director of App Dev Ops & Release Engineering, the Sr. Technical Program Managerwill be responsible for enabling the strategy by driving organizational and technical change from ideation to realization in an iterative approach. Working collaboratively across numerous development and business teams you will use your incredible communication skills and detailed planning abilities to help the team drive the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) platform forward and achieve success in onboarding teams and applications on to the tools being built for self-service and automation.
Critical Functions:
• Act as a focal point for communication of roadmaps, plans and timelines of the DevOps Strategy across McGraw Hill Education teams.
• Target and drive planning and onboarding activities with development teams and application owners to utilize the DevOps CI/CD platform.
• Create and own a foundation of product information that serves as the basis of education and training for the McGraw Hill Education teams that are utilizing the DevOps CI/CD platform.
• Continually partner with platform teams to establish a “Voice of Customer” feedback loop that informs the DevOps CI/CD platform roadmap and act as a Technical Product Manager to adjust the roadmap to deliver new capabilities.
A successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
• Working experience with collaboration and ALM tools such as Confluence and Jira.
• Three plus years’ experience in a customer or partner centric role translating issues and opportunities in the “Voice of the Customer”.
• Two plus years’ experience working in an Agile Scrum environment as a Technical Product Manager, Scrum Master or Program Manager.
• Two plus years’ experience with Cloud infrastructure or SaaS solutions with a focus on developing effective products to address internal needs around efficiency.
• Two plus years’ experience in leading knowledge transfer efforts including product demonstrations, lunch & learns, and training sessions.
• Extremely detailed oriented.
• Highly organized.
• Self-motivated and self-driven to achieve results.
