Overview and Responsibilities
The Brand Sales Manager will act as a liaison and point of contact between Ad Sales and multiple internal channel teams including Integrated Marketing, Programming, On Air Promotions and Pricing and Inventory. The Manager will work in collaboration with and provide frequent marketing, programming and sponsorship updates to the individual departments listed above. The Manager will assist team VPs in creation and dissemination of sponsorship tools to help increase sales activity and drive revenue.
Basic Qualifications
• Sponsorship management, consisting of the creation, pricing and tracking of sponsorship opportunities within internal system.
• Collaborate with the Integrated Marketing and Pricing and Inventory teams to create sales materials and sponsorship packages to provide the sales team with the most up to date information on opportunities for revenue growth.
• Ensure that the team management has up to date information on key sales initiatives such as sponsorship sales, marketing pitches, and closed deals
• Maintain a calendar of upcoming series, tentpoles, specials, and other key initiatives
• Assist team management with revenue and strategy analysis
• Work on special/ad hoc projects as needed including work for the Head of Sales
Additional Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree
• 4+ years media experience preferable
• 3+ years working experience mandatory
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas
• Strong, analytical, strategic thinking and creative problem skills
• Excellent knowledge of power point and excel
