Description
This position reports to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing & Insights and will be a key member of a 3-person marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of syndicated research (including digital analytics) and is an organized multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Create/update daily sales collateral in collaboration with the sales and creative strategy teams.
• Responsible for the reporting and analysis on both syndicated research related to the brand which includes, but is not limited to: MRI, AAM, Starch/AdMeasure, comScore, Nielsen @Plan, PIB/Kantar, Omniture. Create new category stories as needed.
• Package findings from our own first party data.
• Maintain all internal cheat sheets.
• Monitor the marketplace and track key trend info that is pertinent to our brand/category; update on regular basis and package on a quarterly basis.
• Will also help analyze and package results from new online community as needed.
• Maintain the media kit, as well as the marketing site for advertisers
• Act as lead on marketing award submissions
Requirements:
• Able to juggle a range of assignments with some autonomy
• Highly organized and able to work with tight timelines
• Highly proactive with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analyze digital and print analytics tools and deliver key insights for sales team
• Ideally the candidate will have some experience in marketing at a major consumer publication, website, agency, or via an internship/fellowship
