We have an opening for an experienced, innovative, strategic Software Engineer in our Irvine, CA office. Does this sound like you?
Critical Functions:
• Designs, modifies, develops, writes, implements, and tests software programming applications.
• Develop, debug, and maintain new features and a broad range of advanced tools.
• Integrate new features and tools, including features and tools developed by others, using such computer languages as JavaScript, CSS, ISL, SQL, XML, Perl, HTML, and other general purpose computer languages.
• Interact with other software programmers and provide expertise on previously developed tools and features.
• Analyze, maintain, re-specify, and expand tools or features initially developed by others.
• Document technical changes and additions.
• Attend to customer support technical issues and carry out appropriate fixes and changes to features and tools.
A successful candidate will have:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a top school preferred, or Bachelor’s degree plus years of experience that would be equivalent to a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
• Very strong software programming skills.
• Very strong undergraduate math grades and training (transcript required).
• Self-motivated, self-critical, very attentive to detail, self-learner.
• Very good ability to understand, analyze, and further expand the technical work of other employees.
