Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years of studio or agency experience, preferably in publicity or marketing
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a professional and courteous demeanor
• Must be flexible and adaptable in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to constant revision
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently and effectively under deadlines and pressure
• Resourceful and relentless in trying to find a solution before escalating issues
• Able to anticipate potential problems and knows when to ask for help
• Superb organizational and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and dependability are required
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment and follow-up in a timely manner
• Must be a self-starter with a team-player attitude
• Discretion and confidentiality of utmost importance
• A proactive and positive contributor to the team
• Technologically savvy – skilled in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel as well as proficiency in internet -research and basic knowledge of various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
Job Description/Responsibilities:
• Answer phones and maintain call sheet for busy executive, fielding calls and directing them to appropriate contacts when necessary
• Monitor large volume of emails, helping EVP prioritize and draft correspondence as needed
• Manage consistently-changing calendar, scheduling meetings and preparing all documents and agendas
• Coordinate department-wide meetings/ events for full publicity staff
• Maintain overall domestic publicity calendar for Sony Pictures Television Executives
• Work closely with EVP’s direct reports
• Prepare expense reports and monitor expense approvals for EVP’s direct reports
• Book executive travel and prepare itinerary/ travel documents as well as monitor travel authorization approvals for EVP’s direct reports
• General administrative duties (processing mail, copying, filing, ordering supplies)
• Stay current on industry news, media/film trends, competitive landscape and overall zeitgeist
