The B2B Marketing team is responsible for creating the strategy, positioning and execution plan for the marketing of Yahoo's advertising solutions to the advertiser community. The team develops integrated B2B initiatives to tell Yahoo’s story to the market, including outbound messaging, programs and tools to help advertisers and businesses succeed online.
A Lot About You
The Sales Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for driving awareness, adoption and revenue for Yahoo's managed video ad products, as well as other branding oriented ad solutions. This role is critical in driving both the strategy and execution of quarterly go-to-market plans, which can include event sponsorships, sales collateral, content marketing, case studies, sizzle reels and overall communications strategy. This position collaborates with product marketing, insights, demand gen, PR, legal and creative teams to deliver the holistic Yahoo video value proposition.
Your Day
• Go-to-market: Launch new advertising features and solutions to the market to drive awareness and demand, including planning, creative campaign development, communications (website, blog, social, media and industry speaking channels), industry and client event activation, sales enablement and internal communications.
• Marketing Programs/Promotions: as part of the marketing plan, develop and execute programs to accelerate or drive incremental revenue, increase market awareness, and help educate advertisers.
• Sales enablement: Work with key partners, product and training teams to educate sales team on how to effectively sell these solutions to advertisers through training education, digital sales tools, presentations, interactive demos and videos.
• Event Activation: Oversee management of unique client events such as customer panels and forums, premium client events, industry event sponsorships, speaking sessions, webinars and client educational programs.
You must have
● 5+ years marketing experience, including B2B product marketing experience
● Extensive knowledge of video and display advertising industry
● Must have knowledge of the sales process, including working closely with sales teams and creating sales collateral
● Ability to develop and manage comprehensive business-to-business marketing plans for a wide breadth of audiences from development of plan, through execution and measurement of success on aggressive timelines
● Ability to develop and execute on both broad and targeted creative marketing tactics to grow revenue, increase market awareness and enhance our market leadership position
● Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously
● Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and influential communication skills are critical to effectively lead and participate on cross-functional teams: provide leadership, develop and manage project plans, prioritize activities
● Must be capable of presenting to and working with all levels of an organization
● Strong analytical capabilities, a solid understanding of key financial and business metrics, and the ability to apply creative insights to analytical data
● Creative, high positive energy and an ability to execute
● Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
● MBA or Graduate degree preferred
