Headquartered in Singapore, Clearstate aims to augment its field operations by seeking to add a high calibre and enterprising personnel to the team.
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Manager/ Director, Operations and Resourcingto join Clearstate. The purpose of this role will be to support the Managing Director and senior consulting team by managing a pool of analysts, being the lead for a new consulting graduate programme and leading and co-ordinating all training and development. In this way you will be a key enabler for the business to effectively deliver its commitments to clients through maintaining an effective pipeline of junior consultants who are appropriately trained and able to support the different consulting teams.
Accountabilities:
In the role you would be expected to:
• Own and manage the graduate program, including design and maintain training curriculum and schedule for all graduates admitted to the program
• Recruit and screen for right candidates to join the graduate program yearly
• Network and foster relationships with key universities and their student placement bodies, to ensure we build awareness of our brand and reputation
• Keep track on progress of graduates and monitor their development throughout the year (design a suitable performance metrics for graduates that can be applied)
• Manage our internship program which includes making improvements and enhancements to current internship recruitment process and experiences
• Optimize the utilization and deployment of graduates/ analysts for the business, making staffing decisions to support project team in collaboration with the office head and project leads
• Understand and maintain a good knowledge of our service offerings, our business, etc. to effectively communicate our positioning and value-add to graduates/ analysts (internal) and to universities/ recruiters (external)
• Maintain and regularly communicate with Principals/ Team leads to understand their resourcing needs and staffing requirements, including improvement areas to work on for the graduate program
• In conjunction with the Principal consultants, develop an ongoing training programme for all Analysts and Associates
Experience, skills and professional attributes:
To succeed in the role you must have:
• A Bachelor degree
• A very good understanding of consulting organisations and in particular consultant utilisation and project resourcing
• Proven track record in developing, executing and managing a graduate program in a mid-size professional services organization
• Experience of managing and developing training programs
• Solid understanding of the graduate recruitment landscape in the region and significant number of years running campus recruitment
• Expertise in building networks and connections with the universities, students and hiring managers
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) including ability to deliver large group presentations
