Responsibilities
This role supports USA, Syfy, Chiller, Cloo and Universal HD.
Responsibilities
• Brainstorms ideas for series and movie stunts and maintain stunt documents
• Coordinates cross channel movie and series usage requests for shared inventory with Syfy, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, USA, Chiller, Esquire
• Weekly/Daily Listings checks for originals – EPG/Web – report and follow up on discrepancies
• Meeting coverage, providing department updates as needed
• Alerts department heads of breaking news and how it affects our schedule; distributes keyword reports as needed
• Reconciles series and movie usage; update sheets
• Assists with upfront preparation (building monthly and quarterly grids, cascading charts, etc)
• Updates distribution lists quarterly and as requested
• Assists with series runs count reports
• Creates and enters new movies and series material ID’s and formats in COMPASS
• Updates COMPASS with keyword identifiers for series and movies (episodic details, synopses, talent, etc)
• Screens series to be scheduled
• Weekly Descriptive audio updates
• Back up for viewer voice mail checks
• TV data pull
• Competitive research and tracking
• Movie Cleanse
• Weekly research lineup and OTC confirmations
• Maintain weekly Monster ratings files
• Confirm weekly press highlights
• Assist with scheduling meetings and materials
• Back up scheduling responsibilities as needed
• Special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, film, television or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience working in Scheduling or Programming (including internship experience)
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication & organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
