Launch That, LLC is a young, privately held company based in downtown Orlando, Florida. Not long ago, we were 10 people with a dream and desire. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with developers to create and maintain WordPress themes
• Work with other designers and developers to conceptualize and implement incredible user experiences
• Work with the marketing team to develop effective conversion funnels by designing and testing calls to action, landing pages and other conversion elements.
• Write clean, well-designed code
• Document code according to company processes
• Contribute to all phases of the design and front end life-cycle
• Contribute to idea, tactic and strategy creation related to design and front-end coding
• Uphold a standard of excellence in web design
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with Back End Developers to execute functionality of designs and templates
• Collaborate with content staff to create engaging web pages
• Develop new visions and templates for website updates (e.g., blog templates, news templates)
• Tackle additional projects as assigned by Marketing Director
REQUIREMENTS
• Two- or four-year degree Graphic Design, Digital Media or related fields
• Two-plus years’ experience in graphic design or a related field
• Online portfolio
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience with HMTL and CSS
• Working knowledge of CSS frameworks
• Experience with JavaScript/jQuery
• Ability to develop a custom theme in WordPress
• Knowledge of SASS/LESS
• Knowledge of version control (Git)
• Time-management skills, ability to meet deadlines consistently
• Ability to function in a fast-pace, IM-heavy work environment
• Excellent creative and collaboration skills
• Ability to be on site at least 45 hours a week, Monday through Friday, in an office setting
• Ability to communicate and work collaboratively
• Ability to transform the ideas of others to functional web design
• Ability to self-manage, drive initiatives and execute tasks to completion
