Sr. Business Coordinator
Condé Nast is looking for a Sr. Business Coordinator; an individual who wants to support and directly impact the financial/business operations of the advertising, sales team. This role will work closely with the brand to ensure that reporting, projection, estimates, and many other critical analyses are conducted on a regular basis.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• ad hoc reporting requests
• basic rate requests
• book makeup/layout
• communicate assignment changes to MediaRadar/Billing
• daily report
• inquiries on AP status - vendor bills
• manage account assignments for all platforms
• manage festival budget
• manage house ad reports for merch team, etc.
• manage promotion budget
• monthly freelance report
• monthly T&E report
• outside commission reconciliation
• process invoices
• report/track regional remnant/regional fractional space
• review ledger /send reclassifications to finance
• salescomp reports/updates
• salesforce account maintenance
• support finance director
• traffic tablet metadata
• traffic/process insertion orders
Requirements:
• Must have a keen attention to detail and strong follow up skills with the ability to proactively identify and address problems quickly and independently
• Must have superior experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of pivot tables, lookups, advanced functions and formulas a must
• Ability to work closely with other business functions and operate in a manner that supports functional collaboration
• Strong interest in understanding the business and ability to ask questions to gain understanding and clarification
• Must be a flexible and strategic thinker with strong organizational, project and time management skills
• Effective communication skills (oral & written), sound grammar and editing ability, good judgment, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have proven track record of maintaining confidentiality
• Previous publishing and/or financial internship experience a plus
