Autodesk is seeking a highly motivated, experienced engineering manager to join our Digital Distribution Web Services platform team.
As the ideal candidate, you’ve done this before. You have led teams to the delivery of modern cloud web services and have demonstrated deep, hands on experience in this space. You should have expert knowledge in all the modern cloud technologies and are in tune with industry trends. You should be comfortable in an agile environment and know how to build a highly effective team. Most of all, you can inspire a team to do great things.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of developers and software architects responsible for Autodesk’s Digital Distribution Web Services platform.
• Own your team’s technical strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with other engineering and product managers.
• Work with your team to help understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture and help drive decisions.
• Build collaborative partnerships with software architects, technical leads and key individuals within other functional organizations.
• Build and foster a high performance culture, mentor team members and provide your team with the tools and motivation to make things happen.
Requirements:
• Previously managed teams of engineers with ownership of high scale, production systems
• Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issues
• Strong experience with key technologies and tools such as Apigee, Ruby, Node JS, Heroku, Elastic Search, CI/CD (Docker, Jenkins etc.,), Amazon Web Services and exposure to Salesforce
• Expert experience with Scrum and agile development processes and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and written skills
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
