Our Professional Test of English (PTE) business fills a need in the global market by delivering a test that accurately and efficiently measures professional English capabilities necessary to compete in a business environment. PTE Professional raises the bar for validating English competency by offering an exam that truly indicates a candidate’s ability to read, write, speak and listen on the job.
PTE is currently seeking an Academic Training Manager to support Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) customers, stakeholders and internal sales teams in their understanding of the test through the development of high quality learning and teaching resources and the coordination of training events.
Qualifications
• Proven track record in educational programme management and working with Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts, Trainers and other suppliers (mandatory)
• Project management experience (mandatory)
• Ability to gain and assimilate product knowledge quickly (mandatory)
• Evidence of success in building internal and external stakeholder relationships (mandatory)
• Evidence of effective collaborative working (mandatory)
• Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively to target audiences (mandatory)
• Highly developed oral, written and presentation skills, that are effective in person as well as effective virtually (mandatory)
• ELT leadership or teaching experience (preferable)
• Languages other than English (preferable)
• ELT Educational Publishing Experience (preferable)
