Responsibilities
Universal Brand Development drives expansion of the company’s intellectual properties, franchises, characters and stories through innovative products, kids and family content, and experiences globally.
The Marketing Coordinator, Consumer Products will support both live action films and television properties with a focus on partner management and sales materials development. Reports to Marketing Director.
Job Duties
Support the Director in execution of marketing initiatives to support consumer products for live action theatrical and television properties
Assist in management of licensee marketing programs across all categories including toys, live entertainment, apparel, publishing and more
Serve as the point person on approvals through our online submissions system
Prepare sales materials including presentations, sell sheets and sizzle reels to be used for meetings, trade shows and other events. Candidate should be proficient in using Keynote and PowerPoint.
Under supervision of Director, assist in the execution of assigned marketing partnerships with retail accounts; includes in store marketing, promotions, sweepstakes, out-of-home, print, online/mobile content, packaging, premiums, etc.
Oversee approval process internally (marketing execs, brand managers, legal) and externally (retailers, agencies, filmmakers).
Cultivate relationships and extensively communicate with category management, franchise, retail, events and publicity teams
Assist with special projects such as partner events, brand summits, trade shows, etc. as required
Administrative Role
Manage invoices and all PO payments from PO creation to check sent
Serve as back-up to team administrative assistant including select team responsibilities
Assist Marketing Director in basic administrative duties
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years work experience
Technical skills: Strong MAC skills including Keynote. Photoshop or Illustrator, and Office essentials including PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Strong written and oral communication skills and a professional presentation
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable dealing with people at all levels to develop and maintain relationships
Ability to collaborate, take initiative, problem-solve and have follow-through, and work independently
A passion and interest in consumer products and studio process worldwide
