Role/Purpose:
Autodesk Consulting is seeking a talented AEC Collaboration & Data Management (CDM) subject matter expert to work with our key customers in order to define, design, implement and adopt customized and configured solutions aligned with BS 1192 / PAS 1192 CDE standards. This individual will work directly with customers to understand their CDM business needs related to BIM Uses and integrations of enterprise applications including CRM, ERP, FM and other. Based on that understanding, this individual will define an overall approach that is based on Autodesk CDM products (on premise and cloud) such as Autodesk Vault Professional, BIM 360 Docs, BIM 360 Team, BIM 360 Glue and Collaboration for Revit to meet our customer’s requirements. Developing smaller customizations, using Java Script, HTML and .Net are part of the role.
Beside this technical delivery role, there is an opportunity to extend the responsibilities into team leadership and people management.
Responsibilities:
• Work with customers to determine breadth and depth of CDM in AEC environments (see below)
• Analyze Customer requirements and contribute to the design of Autodesk products accordingly
• Participate in all phases of implementation projects including key user trainings and support
• Deliver customized and configured solutions on top of Autodesk core products in the manufacturing domain
• Performing small development task, using Java Script, HTML and .Net
• Act as technical lead of a project team of internal and 3rd party resources (as the project requires)
• Optional: Leading a team of Technical Consultants and managing
• the teams and individual utilization
• the teams and individual training and education
• the performance and calibration of the team members
• the development, delivery and maintenance of service offerings
• the collaboration with the Autodesk sales and engineering teams
• other people management related aspects
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in civil engineering (masters degree strongly desired)
• Very good domain knowledge of CDM processes within the AEC Infrastructure/Building industry is a must
Experience:
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a fast-paced high-performing global software product development and services delivery environment
• 5 years’ experience in the AEC CDM domain.
• Hands on experience related to implementing a CDE (Common Data Environment) based on standards such as BS 1192 and PAS 1192 is required
• Cloud and SaaS as well as Client-Server solutions experience
• Development experience of Java Script, HTML and .Net customizations are beneficial
• Optional - Experienced in remote managing international teams required for extended management responsibility
Technical Skills:
• Domain knowledge of the AEC (Building, Infrastructure) industry, and the use of commercial CDM tools to implement a BS1192 / PAS1192 compliant CDE
• Familiarity with Autodesk applications such as Autodesk Vault Professional, BIM 360 Docs, BIM 360 Team, BIM 360 Glue and Collaboration for Revit
• Familiarity with other non-Autodesk applications such as Bentley Projectwise, Aconex, Asite or similar would be a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to define and specify, implement and adopt custom configured CDM solutions
• Java Script, HTML and .NET language for custom script would be a plus
• Proven experience with integration to ERP, CRM or FM systems

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent skills in resolving customer problems with an “out of the box” and a “can do” approach
• Languages: English is a must, additional languages appreciated.
