Frostbite is looking for a Technical Release Manager to join our team.
As the Technical Release Manager, you will be responsible for the health of the development branch at Frostbite and how we release and deliver our technology to the game teams inside EA. You will be agreeing Development Guidelines that cover the sorts of changes that make it into our code base at various stages of development and Stability Targets that define how we manage any problems that hit our development line.
You will be part of delivering the engine behind some of the best games in the industry. Frostbite is the platform for diverse franchises like Battlefield, FIFA, Mass Effect, Need for Speed, Star Wars: Battlefront, Dragon Age and Plant vs. Zombies Garden Warfare.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for defining Development Guidelines together with the Frostbite Leadership
• Responsible for making sure the Development Guidelines are followed
• Act as an escalation point for Development Guidelines exceptions
• Responsible for the status of the Development branch
• Make sure that build breaks are fixed
• Make sure that Critical for Release bugs are picked up
• Work with QA and the Build farm team
QUALIFICATIONS
• Understanding and experience of building and delivering software at scale
• Experience with Continuous Integration
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with C# and C++
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with Perforce
• Experience with Agile methodologies (incremental delivery, agile testing etc...)

We also see that you have excellent communication skills, talking to the different development teams are a big part of the job. We think that you are structured, good at triaging and can work very well both individually and with a team.
