DESCRIPTION:
This position will support the SVP Group Director of Digital Media in an administrative capacity. The Digital Media department encompasses digital marketing/promotional groups at Showtime including: Marketing, Editorial, Creative, Content Syndication, Immerging Platforms, Sports, CRM, and Production & Technology.
In addition this position will support various VPs within the department in assisting the team to successfully execute digital and social marketing plans, in addition to maintaining general workflow and performing administrative duties. This position will have exposure to many areas within the Digital Media department and is a good position for someone looking to gain understanding and experiences in the digital media and the entertainment business.
Specific Responsibilities:
Administrative
Coordinate all daily operational and administrative functions for the department including:
• Meetings and travel arrangements
• Prepare T&E
• Photocopying
• Maintaining departmental vacation calendar
• Tracking timesheets
• Track invoices
• Mail distribution
• Order supplies
• Maintain script/DVD library
• Provide effective administrative support to the SVP Group Director.
Support Various Department Initiatives
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Track inter-department projects
• Initiate job requests to creative services
• Proactively prep for weekly Digital Services meeting by coordinating agenda details, presenters, marketing materials, video presentations etc.
• Attend department meetings as requested, take notes and follow up on outstanding items
• Quality Assure digital, mobile and web projects as needed
• Proofread digital creative marketing materials prior to senior management review
• Participate in group brainstorms meetings
• Research innovative digital, social and mobile ideas, promotions, tactics and technologies
• Review and disseminate customer service emails to appropriate groups within Digital Services
• Manage weekly and monthly Digital Highlights newsletters
• Assist in updating and maintaining Showtime Tumblr account
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2 years relevant advertising and/or consumer marketing experience.
• Experience as Advertising Agency Account Coordinator or Marketing Coordinator preferred.
• A passion and enthusiasm/interest in the entertainment and television space
• Knowledge of digital marketing including mobile and social media
• Basic understanding of the marketing function
• Strong, clear communication and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Accuracy/detail oriented
• Highly organized
• Quick learner
• Team player
• Ability to handle multiple projects under intense deadlines, effectively and smoothly

• Online advertising/marketing experience highly preferred, but not mandatory.
