The technology team also drives and coordinates how we work with technology partners to establish Pearson as a destination for innovation in education. Our aim is to ensure that our customers have access to more products and learning solutions in more regions while continually offering a high-quality user experience.
We are currently seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to play a pivotal role in the execution and reporting of Technology initiatives and programs of work delivered within Australia and ASEAN. As the successful candidate, you will lead effective overall project delivery within project parameters of scope, quality, timeframe, cost and risk as well as facilitate processes for all programs and projects.
Qualifications
• Degree qualified with supporting Accreditation, certification and/or affiliation in a Project Management discipline/institution (Prince2 / PMBOK/PMI) (mandatory)
• Change Management and Communication planning experience (mandatory)
• Experience delivering large scale, high value projects in complex corporate environments for multinational organisations with a focus on technology management (5+ years) (mandatory)
• Experience managing projects through transition/transformation environments (preferable)
• Exposure to financial reporting and management in the context of project spend (preferable)
• Expertise in design, implementation and optimisation of ICT processes, organisations and systems (preferable)
• Demonstrated experience and/or certifications related to Technology, Development & Architecture (Microsoft, Cisco, Angular, Java, TOGAF etc.) (preferable)
