Summary
The Director of Channel Marketing's mission is to assist in driving sales productivity and revenue growth by enabling our Indirect Partner's success with tailored support from Comcast Business corporate marketing programs and product marketing launches. The Director will be responsible for supporting the recruitment, retention, education, enablement or partners and driving new strategies and channel programs to enable success. This role is a part of the Comcast Business Marketing team and reports directly to the VP of Marketing Communications. Ideal candidates must have a passion for sales and marketing with a proven record of success in marketing strategy, program execution including product launches, creative strategy and execution, communication plans and results analyses and reporting.
Core Responsibilities
• Develop and manage execution of corporate marketing programs for the Indirect Channel
• Be the liaison between CHQ Product, Marketing and Marcom teams (based in Philly) and the Indirect team (based in Denver) to develop product marketing strategy and launch plans specific to the Indirect sales channel
Interface with PR to ensure Indirect Channel is represented proactively through program and partner news and events
• Partner with Sales Operations to ensure adequate communication on new initiatives and offers are made to Indirect Channel.
• Interface with Agency partners to develop creative briefs and oversee creative execution of all necessary materials (print ads, display banners, collateral, sell sheets etc), ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Serve as primary contact with program suppliers for implementation of acquisition and retention activities of Indirect Channel Partners.
• Manage development and updates of program metrics
• Maintain a strong understanding of the products, marketplace, business trends and buying behavior
Provide competitive intelligence on indirect industry incentives, products and program strategy to indirect team
• Serve as the Indirect Channel's liaison and Subject Matter Expert to Engineering, Field Marketing, Customer Service, Product Management, Legal and Sales.
• Participate in strategic plan development and building of alliances with industry partners, networks, etc. as needed to achieve product growth objectives.
• Influence sales channel incentives through offer strategy.
• Organize/Attend partner events, roadshows, and sales conferences as necessary
• Consult with Marketing/Sales to identify, define, size, and prioritize strategic analytics opportunities.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Some travel is required

Job Specification:
• Bachelors Degree
• Generally requires 10+ years related experience in Marketing, Business, or technical major; background in technology and services preferred; MBA desired
Field of Study Marketing
Years' Experience-Generally requires 10+ years related experience
• 5+ years data and telecommunications marketing,
• 5+ years' experience in a business-to-business organization;
• Previous work experience with indirect channel sales and marketing
• Understanding of branding principles, especially in the business-to-business category
Experience with social and digital marketing strategy
• Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously within rapidly changing environment; comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, change
• Experience working with marketing communications and advertising agencies
• Excellent organizational and planning skills; analytical, makes decisions using data/facts
• Ability to lead complex projects through management of cross functional teams; outstanding interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to influence change through interpersonal relationships; strong mediation skills; relationship builder; networker
• Inherently sees opportunities and how to bring them to life; exhibits intuition.
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive under pressure in a fun but fast paced and changing environment
