Currently we are seeking an Events Marketing Assistant to work on a few of our upcoming events. The successful candidate will be based in New York and manage the recruitment of a high-level audience to our event.
Accountabilities:
In this role you would be expected to:
Event promotion and engagement
• Contact prospective event attendees by email and phone to secure their attendance at our paid and complimentary (invitation only) events
• Research and determine prospective event attendees via LinkedIn, web search and internal CRM
• Liaise with attendees upon confirmation on event logistics, venue, etc.
• Work with press offices to determine the right individual from their company
• Update event website where needed
Experience, skills and professional attributes:
To succeed in the role you must have:
• Relevant marketing experience; telemarketing or events marketing preferred
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; confident and professional manner
• An interest in business affairs, politics and economics
• Knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Office – Word & Excel, Eloqua, Omniture and Lead generation tools – including ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, social media, etc
