The Senior Tax Analyst-Strategy will report to the Director, Tax Strategy and will work with other staff and leaders within the tax department and throughout the organization focusing on assisting with the planning, research and other tax items relating to the company including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and other business reorganizations. The primary responsibilities include:
• Assist with planning, research, and other tax items relating to the company including acquisitions, dispositions, mergers and other business reorganizations and transactions
• Work on local tax planning projects
• Assist global tax department special projects and analysis
• General research and analysis of company compliance with applicable tax laws
• Assist with U.S. international tax compliance
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes in tax law
Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Experience
• University Degree
• 3+ years relevant tax experience
• Knowledge of U.S. corporate tax matters (domestic and international) including relating to mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and other business reorganizations and transactions
Skills/Abilities
• Strong U.S. corporate federal income tax technical skills
• Experience with international tax planning with respect to multinational companies
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle numerous details
• Ability to interact with management and other department personnel as well as external advisors on the various assignments
• Proactive in identifying issues and developing solutions
• Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
