HarperCollins Christian Publishing is in search of a Digital Marketing Associate for their Direct division. HarperCollins Christian Publishing’s Direct team is looking for a dynamic marketing professional who will assist with managing the design, content, and community at FaithGateway.com, a site reaching more than 1 million readers each week.
Responsibilities:
In this role, the Digital Marketing Associate will have a range of marketing, design and production responsibilities. The Digital Marketing Associate is will participate in the overall look and feel of FaithGateway.com, including the website, blog, images, photography, and collateral.
Qualifications:
Desired candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, education and skills:
Knowledge:
Strong competencies in writing, editing, marketing, graphic design, and production, but also an interest and knowledge of trends in audience engagement, lead generation, sales funnels, conversion strategies, and content marketing.

Project management
Email marketing
eCommerce marketing
Marketing collateral
Blogging
WordPress
Website landing page creation
SEO
Google Analytics
Conversion strategies
Copywriting
Photo editing
Graphic design for marketing
Online community management
Work Experience:1-3 years’ experience in publishing, marketing, mass media, or design
Education:B.A. in Journalism, Communications, English, Media Studies, Marketing, or Design
Industry Knowledge:Prior book publishing experience not a requirement
Skills:
Artistic and creative: Skilled in graphic design for eCommerce marketing and content marketing
Skilled in copywriting: writing marketing copy, headlines, sales offers, and calls-to-action
Experience with WordPress, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with eMail platforms (Silverpop, MailChimp, etc.) is a plus
Experience with HTML/CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Dreamweaver preferred, and can troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML Code and CSS, as required
