DESCRIPTION:
CBS Radio is seeking a Sr. Project Manager/Business Analyst to join its IT team based in New York City. We’re looking for an experienced business analyst and highly technical project manager to run multiple concurrent projects partnering with the business to capture requirements, determine business priorities, and plan/execute in a manner that meets/exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Plan/implement IT infrastructure, applications, financial systems and software development projects
• Partner with business units and understand their day to day challenges, workflow and processes with the goal of becoming a subject matter expert
• Create, manage and update project schedules and timeline
• Define/prioritize requirements creating an IT roadmap for the business
• Coordinate outside vendor involvement
• Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
• Maintain required project documentation
• Serve as a Service Delivery liaison between business and IT
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, engineering or related field is preferred. Master's degree in either field or an MBA a plus
• 8-10 years progressive IT project management experience with strong technical knowledge of IT architecture, systems, applications, financial platforms i.e. Oracle, cloud, DevOps, SDLC, data networks and databases
• Repeatable success capturing requirements from key stakeholders using requirement elicitation techniques like brainstorming, requirement workshops, focus groups and others
• Strong Agile Scrum project management experience required
• PMP certification required
• Coordination and participation in the system and user testing phases
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of generating process and workflow documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Media industry experience is highly desirable
