In this role you will:
• Chart a course for increasingly automating the creation, collection and refinement of core metadata (e.g. synopsis, talent, maturity ratings).
• Continue building out the world’s deepest catalog of information about features an tv series.
• Build comprehensive views to discover and understand titles across the service.
• Have a focus on collecting data to further improve our tools.
• Scale operations while improving quality.
• Partner with multiple internal operations teams to ensure the data we gather drives critical workflows across Netflix
Here is what we are looking for:
• Strong independent contributor comfortable working in uncharted territory.
• 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager working across a mix of consumer, enterprise, and internal tools.
• A passion for movies and tv shows.
• Experience working with content catalogues.
• An understanding of the core metadata for content including maturity ratings, synopses, and cast.
• A deep understanding of scaling concepts like scoring to maintain quality.
• A history of leveraging both automation and operations teams to scale workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrable enthusiasm and energy for delivering successful product.
