Position Overview:
The position of Media Director will drive strategic vision for Comcast Business media and will oversee all media strategy, planning, buying, and implementation for Corporate, Division, and Region media initiatives. Position is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders in marketing, marketing communications, research, and outside agency partners to create and implement media strategy to drive Comcast Business growth. In this role, responsibilities also include leading media and messaging alignment, media measurement and analysis, and development of innovative media strategies and tactics to drive increased brand awareness and acquisition across Comcast Business' segments.
Responsibilities:
• Develop media objectives, strategies and overall plan direction to drive awareness and acquisition for small business and mid-market segments via all media channels including but not limited to display, broadcast, publishing, out of home, social, mobile
• Develop and test performance media tactics to drive calls and web leads including but not limited to DRTV, display, and mobile
• Evolve centralized media planning and strategy for Corporate and Division media
• Steward multi-million dollar media budget across all media types
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing landscape
• Manage media agency to develop media strategies and plans that align with business objectives; track campaign analysis, optimization and reporting
• Collaborate with ecommerce, product marketing, and agency teams to align on offer, messaging and media strategy
• Collaborate with media, ecommerce and research teams to drive measurement including marketing mix modeling
• Develop and grow direct relationships with key media vendors
• Oversee the process of writing vendor POVs to be distributed to product marketing teams
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of media planning and/or buying experience, with at least 2-3 years online planning/buying experience
• B2B experience a plus
• Experience with media measurement technologies including marketing mix modeling and media attribution solutions preferred
• Advertising agency, broadcast or cable media planning experience preferred
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational and prioritization skills
• Must be innovative, proactive and a strong team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• BA or equivalent experience required
