We are building a brand new global platform for content and eCommerce using the latest enterprise technologies and innovative micro-services architecture where Adobe AEM plays a crucial role.
We are skilled in many areas and have responsibility over Enterprise and Solutions Architecture, Platform Delivery, Business Systems & Services, Content & Rights Platforms, Data Platforms, Learning Platforms, Web Foundational and Enabling Platforms.

About the job
The right person will be a high performing, hands-on technical lead with extensive experience with large scale Adobe AEM implementations.
We are looking for someone who can bring technical gravitas, thought leadership and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities
• Ownership of the overall technical delivery of customer facing applications including Adobe AEM.
• Line management, leading and coaching a team of Adobe AEM and Front-end passionate technologists
• Overall responsibility for the quality of the AEM technical design, code and configuration.
• Responsibility for the maintainability and scalability of the AEM solution and integrations.
• Consideration of the wide-reaching technical impact of AEM to uncover risks and assumptions.
• Ongoing technical design, delivery and quality of the Adobe AEM codebase.
• Setting and ensuring the highest development standards are followed.
• Active monitoring of risks to code based delivery.
• Engaging with the other Technical Leads, Solutions Architect and Enterprise Architecture to find and solve gaps in technical direction.
• Identification and management of technical debt.
• Coordination with DevOps to ensure our platform delivery meets the needs of ourselves and our customers.
• Coordination with the Quality Assurance Team to support test activities.
Qualifications
• Strong technical credentials with 7+ years development experience in Java.
• Significant experience with building, launching and managing complex websites on the Adobe AEM Experience Manager (4+ years)
• Expert knowledge of web based technologies: HTTP / HTTPS, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Less, JQuery, Angular
• A passion for technology and up-to-date with trends, new development languages and design approaches in the IT space.
• Significant hands-on experience building server side technologies and platforms using Java, Spring, Maven.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Extensive experience with services based architecture and strong REST API background.
• Established track record of designing and developing simple solutions to complex problems.
• Experience with multiple approaches to data storage (relational, nonrelational, graph) with a variety of technologies (i.e. Oracle, MongoDB, CouchDB, Memcached, Redis).
• Experienced in designing scalable solutions, write efficient code, optimizing performance and debugging issues.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing large scale commercial web applications
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, multi-tasking, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, both technical and nontechnical.
• Experience coaching and mentoring technology talent.
