This position is a working analyst position. The Contracts Analyst creates and edits contractual agreements. In the course of providing proactive, pragmatic support to the business, the Contracts Analyst identifies risk and mitigation strategies, and works as a business partner with all levels of the business to provide responsive, clear, actionable advice.
Support Technology organization, and Product service offerings. Research complex contractual and legal questions and issues; clearly communicate findings and identify risks associated with mitigation options. Interface with all levels of executive leadership and management as well as customers regarding expenditure contracts in a fast paced, demanding environment.
Requirements:
• Must be able to successfully multi-task, be proactive, and be very detailed oriented.
• Good interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, grammar, writing and editing skills.
• Presents self in positive and professional manner.
• Ability to analyze customer requirements in context of the business environment and recognize legal implications.
• Strong ethics, integrity and values.
• Demonstrated experience communicating with all levels of management, cross functional teams and customers.
• Some travel may be required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal, or equivalent degree and related experience required.
• MBA or JD strongly preferred.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of contract analyst experience.
