IT Support Specialist
RCS seeks an enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated IT Support Specialist to join our IT department in White Plains, NY.
The IT support specialist will be responsible for providing IT support across the RCS organization, this includes hardware and software components. The successful applicant will have excellent written and verbal skills, the ability to work in a team environment, be able to prioritize and organize tasks and work in a multi-tasked environment.
Responsibilities:
• Work with a ticket system for monitoring and troubleshooting site issues across North America and Canada
• Build computer hardware
• Support hardware and software
• Remote hardware troubleshooting
• Remote assistance to mobile users
• Mobile Device support (iOS and Android)
• Assist in creating documentation and processes
Required skills:
• 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role
• Computer hardware - workstation and server
• Strong Windows troubleshooting skills, including Windows Server and Workstation operating systems
• Knowledge of TCP / IP networking
• Knowledge and understanding of 2003/2008/2012 Active Directory
• Exposure to Virtual platforms such as VMWare and Hyper-V
• Remote Administration tools such as RDC, VNC and TeamViewer
• Industry certifications (A+, MCSA, MCSE) are an asset but not essential
This is an entry level position in which the employee will work closely with senior team members. The position reports to the Vice President of I.T.
