With Netflix’s launch into Asia at the start of the year, it is an exciting time to join the team. Netflix is expanding rapidly across the region and wants to change the future of television and how it is watched around the globe. We are constantly looking to build our teams with high performers to match our growth and expansion, and are looking for a seasoned full-cycle recruiter to join our team in Singapore to support our continued expansion. We need a talent acquisition expert who understands the end-to-end process of hiring talented individuals and knows how to act as a strategic partner to groups across the business. To this role, you will need to bring cultural understanding of the talent market in countries throughout Asia and the knowledge of how to effectively engage and recruit top talent across the region from India to Japan to Southeast Asia . You must have 5 to 8 years of experience growing teams from leaders to individual contributors and demonstrated ability to drive business success through talent acquisition.
What you’ll do in this role:
• Own and drive the recruiting strategy for several teams in Asia Pacific region
• Work with the in house researchers to source the best candidates and then interview, offer, negotiate and close candidates for assigned roles
• Engage key staffing and business partners in order to understand the needs of multiple business groupsIn collaboration with researchers design strategy to recruit senior and niche candidates in limited talent pools, including driving a business plan, building key competitive research, industry profile development, networking and direct sourcing
• Network and maintain relationships with key talent communities for short and/or long term opportunities
• Ensure that candidates understand and embrace our unique Freedom & Responsibility culture
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the top Netflix competitors and the industry
• Use talent market expertise, data, and business acumen to educate and influence hiring managers on how to identify and acquire the best talent
• Be a self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization's reputation and success
• Partner with your peers in the US and globally to share best practices and add value to the broader Talent Acquisition organization.
