Yahoo7's Advertising Technology and Operations team is focused on maintaining and growing our relationships with our clients by providing first line technical support for Yahoo7's Ad Platforms. We review, investigate, replicate, prioritize and resolve a wide range of issues related to display, video, native and programmatic ads. We use a mixture of product knowledge, technical skills and experience to identify problems and provide solutions.
We are now looking for a Video Ad Technology Specialist to drive Video Strategy. Video is projected to be the fastest growing digital ad format over the next 5 years and Yahoo7 is uniquely positioned to dominate the digital video advertising market. Combining the might of Yahoo's technology and brightroll and content from Seven West Media, Yahoo7 is one of the biggest video advertising platforms on the internet.

Yahoo7's Video technology team live, love and breathe everything Video and so should you! Whether it be VOD, device consumption, video spend, video formats, native video, distribution, long form or short form - you'll be up to date with all the latest trends across Australia. You'll be excited about the opportunity to manage and develop an industry leading video ad strategy and building an ad solutions roadmap. You'll need to have a curious nature and a desire to follow things through to the end - and you'll need to be determined and tenacious in finding the right people and processes to get to a solution.
Some of what you'll be doing ...
• Managing and developing an industry-leading video ad strategy for Yahoo7
• Defining technical and business requirements for in-stream video ad solutions across various ad formats and platforms including documentation and maintenance of functional product and platform requirements specifications
• Collaborating with internal and external business units to bring video ad solutions to market including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product Marketing, Product Development, and Engineering
• Developing second-to-none expertise for integrations in Desktop, Mobile and CTV ad serving environments
• In conjunction with third-party partners, investigating and implementing technical and operational ad serving solutions
What you'll need
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• 4 + years of related work experience in Digital Advertising
• Expert knowledge of the Video Advertising landscape
• Knowledge of publisher side technology stacks & third party ad serving interfaces
• Highly analytical mindset with a demonstrated track record of strong problem solving skills
• Global mindset - you're capable and confident in working across cross functional teams
