Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance and execute comprehensive projects based on Customer/Internal requirements
Custom web application development using Drupal
Use version control systems such as SVN and GIT
Contribute to the overall system architecture and long term technology vision for the team
Review and contribute to requirements and designs to ensure quality at the start of the development lifecycle
Must be able to able to operate independently, correct issues and improve the environment
Must be able to relate technical issues and requirements to business issues and vice versa and be able to communicate these to non-technical associates and customers
Evaluate new technologies to improve our tools and capabilities
Work with a template driven system with a clear separation between content and display
Output data in multiple document formats
Use XMLHTTP request and JavaScript to create web applications
Work with content approval and staging workflows
Work with multiple delivery platforms such as mobile and desktop
Work with multilingual websites and applications
Follow best practices for efficient and easier to maintain code and for securing web applications
Mentor team members
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of relevant professional experience/ hands on in LAMP development / coding, including; Ajax, Web 2.0, HTML5, JQuery, PHP, XML, JSON, DRUPAL Frame work, Stack Development
Fluent in Spanish highly preferred
Advanced knowledge and demonstrated use of personal computer software applications including Microsoft Office Products(Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
Developed with at least one CMS framework or web application framework.
Understand the underlying systems on which web applications are developed.
Understand the technologies and languages which power the web such as HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript.
Understanding of both front-end and back-end web development technologies
Knowledge of a programming language for a framework using PHP and database programming
Ability to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Self-reliant; able to work independently and accept responsibility for projects
Able to work independently with little to no direction and multitask while remaining productive and conscious of timelines
Research, recommend and implement technologies that will benefit the team
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task at a high paced workload, while maintaining a strategic and organized workflow
