Overview and Responsibilities
TV advertising is being reinvented through big data, predictive analytics and other audience segmentation tools that were previously only available in the digital world. Viacom Vantage, Viacom’s data-driven television platform, is at the forefront of this reinvention of TV advertising, and we are offering a select few individuals the opportunity to join our team.
In this role, you will be tasked with delivering data solutions for Viacom Vantage clients by designing and implementing data-driven campaigns from pre-sales pitch design to segmentation strategy to on-boarding to campaign management to reporting and analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Vantage prospects and clients to understand their strategic approach to customer segmentation
• Build and deliver custom segmentation approaches that map to client objectives, including recommended data sources, segment sizing and segment qualification
• Manage all onboarding of advertiser first-party CRM or DMP segments with partners to ensure smooth creation of Vantage virtual networks
• Define and measure advertiser KPIs and how they are impacted by Vantage campaigns
• Own the overall reporting and measurement rhythm for Vantage clients, including design and delivery of performance reporting and ROI measurement
Basic Qualifications:
• Proven experience and results managing and supporting ad tech, programmatic and/or data science products within digital media, online video or television over the past 5+ years
• A deep understanding of customer research, audience targeting and advertising business models, both current and emerging, with proven experience translating partner needs into product execution
• Experience in data science, specifically around applications in marketing and/or consumer segmentation and advertising
• Technical fluency in the fundamentals of digital, programmatic and/ or television advertising, including working knowledge of systems for planning, delivery and reporting on media across multiple channels
• Experience in designing and/ or supporting analytics and measurement systems for media, including underlying data collection, aggregation and presentation
• Understanding of advertising and agency ecosystem in television and/or digital
Additional Qualifications:
• Passion for problem-solving and the ability to find answers to difficult questions – the sort of answers that others might struggle to find
• A track record of exceptional partnering across a wide-array of internal business groups, agencies, executive stakeholders and execution partners
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience building and leading presentations
• Experience in visual presentation of information and visual communication
• An entrepreneurial approach with a bias for action that is passionate about building businesses within a fast-paced environment
