The EMEA Analytics & Insights team partners with key stakeholders in the business from Product & Editorial, Marketing, Sales, Finance Operations, Platform and Marketplaces to provide the visibility and analytics required across the business, in order to make key decisions to drive the business and improve the user experience.
We are a go-to consultancy for the business, delivering projects to support key business decisions based on fact and insight. We develop and provide KPI reporting, support the business planning process, and build tools for our business partners. We work on strategy projects, new partnership deals, financial forecasting and launches of new content products or media properties.

A Lot About You
We are looking for a new Analytics & Insights Sr Analyst to join our team to focus on our Display Ads business.
This role has a strong focus on providing strategic insights for all of Yahoo’s Display ad-products working closely with marketplace, finance operations and senior leadership team to drive our business strategy forward. There will be a further focus on liaising regularly on an informal and formal basis (monthly / quarterly) with marketplace, sales and local Ops Fin teams for each region to build strong professional relationship and to discuss trends in revenue performance and revenue driving activities.
We are looking for a highly motivated analytical problem solver with a strong commercial focus, to join a vibrant analytics team by taking a key role in driving towards Yahoo’s success.
Your Day
The Analytics & Insights Sr Manager will be responsible for providing:
• Provide analysis on the supply-side and user-side visibility and insights.
• Liaise with our US counterparts for supply-side analytics
• Analysis on our Audience Ads and Native Ads Business alongside Finance.
• Modelling new strategic initiatives
• Self-Serve book-of- business deep-dives
• Deliver actionable insights on Audience and User analytics
• Support our DSP & BRXD analytical and visibility efforts.
You Must Have
• Advanced Analytical and reporting skills with the experience and ability to translate data into meaningful analysis and actionable insights
• Stakeholder / Customer Management skills – Agreeing timescales, delivering to agreed deadlines, scoping and understanding customer requirements.
• Project Management Skills – Ability to scope requirements, generate a project plan, identify key stakeholders, manage timescales and deliverables
• Excellent communication skills - able to interact successfully with all levels of staff and management; expresses ideas in a clear logical and constructive way
• Teamwork and Collaboration Skills - Supports, co-operates and collaborates with the manager and all team members and peers in other departments. Open minded and flexible to changing requirements
• Time & Work management - Works toward team /department/company goals. Self manages on individual projects and escalates where necessary
• Analytical Integrity – Ensures accuracy, sense checking, data integrity, rigorous research, effecting problem solving.
