Yahoo’s Global Ad Policy team is responsible for ad content policies on Yahoo, supply quality policies across all Yahoo platforms, ad targeting policies, and data strategy review globally. We use knowledge of the industry, data, and empathy to make decisions that protect Yahoo, drive advertiser creativity, and support the user experience. Every day is different - but one thing remains the same - our decisions impact millions of users every day and help set the tone for their experience on Yahoo. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves.

Your Day
• About half the day will be spent answering questions from internal partners in sales or operations about our policies.
• You’ll perform revenue and user impact analysis for policy decisions.
• You’ll partner with product teams on internal tools and controls that implement policies.
• You’ll maintain policy documentation, including updating internal and external sites.
You Must Have
• You have at least three years of experience in an advertising policy or a related policy role.
• You have a strong background and understanding of the online advertising world - search, native, display and video - and how policy issues fit into the ecosystem.
• You are a master of Excel
• You have serious data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of Apache Pig is a plus.
