Nature Research is a flagship portfolio of journals, products and services including Nature and the Nature-branded journals, dedicated to serving the scientific community.
We are looking for an experienced B2B Content Marketing Manager to be our resident expert in multiple customer journeys, creating compelling inbound campaigns that drive engagement and high-value partnerships with a global thought-leadership audience of scientists, science marketers and opinion-leaders across Nature journals, Nature.com and Scientific American.
Job Description:
• Partner with institutional partnership sales and marketing teams to understand clients and communicate the value of NRG partnerships
• Be our resident NRG customer journey expert for B2B scientific stakeholders in corporate and non-corporate (academic, non-profit and governmental) institutions
• In concert with sales, editorial and marketing teams, create marketing content that defines and promotes value of NRG partnerships via white papers, blogs, presentations, case studies, webinars, multimedia content, etc.
• Deliver “regular drumbeat” of content to support global teams in institutional partnership, display, sponsorship and careers teams
• Develop internal brief/rational for content maketing campaign requests from discreet sales teams
• Work with Branding and Presentation team to develop UX/UI for campaigns that reflect value of NRG partnerships
• Develop and execute a globally scalable promotional/drip model to continuously market to potential and existing clients
• Develop and communicate new content marketing insights that illustrate benefits of partnering with NRG
• Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute on a communication plan with content marketing KPIs and ROI tracking of engagement and closed business
Requirements:
• 5+ years professional experience with proven track record developing highly effective inbound product positioning, messaging, presentations and marketing content
• Compelling communicator who effortlessly blends strategy with execution
• Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven marketing
• Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including global teams
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Experience developing customer-facing messaging, content, drip campaigns
• Self-motivated, organized, and a strategic thinker
• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
• Willingness to travel as needed (10%)
