Spotify is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics that will build and scale global marketing campaign analytics at Spotify. This role will manage a global team of marketing campaign analysts, with the purpose of maximizing Spotify’s return on marketing investment. This role reports to the Director of Marketing Analytics, alongside the lead of Performance Marketing Analytics, and the lead of Marketing Analytics Product. There will be significant collaboration with other marketing teams, particularly the Consumer Research, Marketing Strategy, Consumer Marketing and Media teams. You will also leverage Spotify’s world class user data infrastructure and collaborate with Spotify’s global community of 100+ data analysts.
What You’ll Do
• Collaborate with the Marketing Strategy team to prioritize marketing initiatives, estimate their impact and identify specific KPIs
• Own the global ‘Marketing Campaign Measurement Plan’ process, which includes estimating campaign performance, instrumenting measurement, facilitating optimizations in an agile way (particularly test & learn), and reporting on results
• Manage a team of global analysts, help them to scale the Marketing Campaign Measurement process in their regions, and act as a point of escalation for any challenges the team may face
• Own the day-to-day measurement, reporting and optimization recommendations of all North America marketing campaigns
• Contribute to the roadmap of Marketing Analytics deliverables, such as multi-touch attribution and forecasting
• Collaborate with sister analytics teams at Spotify to leverage shared platforms, best practices, insights and innovations
Who You Are
• 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics or business intelligence (focused in analytics) with a proven track record of delivering performance results required.
• Strong understanding of traditional media (TV, out of home), digital media (search, display, social) and CRM (email, push notifications) required.
• Strong analytical skills, including data querying, dash-boarding, and experimental design are required.
• Strong SQL skills required; R, or Python are preferred.
• Data visualization skills required (e.g. Tableau, Looker).
• Strong presentation skills (e.g. PowerPoint) required.
• Management experience required.
