Executive Beauty Director, Town & Country
The Opportunity
Town & Country is in search of an Executive Beauty Director to sell integrated programs that include print, digital, sponsorships and events.
Ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success in generating cross-platform advertising sales. He/she must be a motivated self-starter who is inventive and entrepreneurial in their approach to generating business with strong internal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Target a minimum 15 sales calls a week with preparation for senior management
• Coordinate with marketing, research and art teams to prepare materials andpresentations for client list that represent the brand and its unique positioning in the competitive landscape
• Prepare internal tracking documents and update Business Development, prospect for new clients, seekout relevant partnerships and alliances that are specific to Beauty category
• Communicate and manage digital programs: standard andcorporate units, native content, mobile, targeting, optimization, performance metrics and post campaign reporting
Provide status reports, weekly itineraries, and projections
Requirements/Skills/Experience
• Must be an experienced media sales professional with a with proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals and a minimum of 5 years of experience at a national consumer magazine
• Extensive senior level client and agency relationships and interaction on
leading Beauty brands
• Analytical/strategic thinker, creative problem solver, resourceful, innovative and creative
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• A knowledge of Salesforce and Excel
