We’re looking for a proactive and dynamic Marketing professional who can adapt to a rapidly changing environment, balancing management of multiple projects with long-term strategic direction. You have an excellent track record of curiosity, risk taking, and innovation and are experienced at dealing effectively with creative and media agencies. You always make the first move. You work well independently, but have superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Your day:
As the Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, plans and events to drive revenue increase and adoption of our products and solutions, and boost engagement with our ad agencies and the advertiser community. You will plan and execute marketing strategies to drive reach, brand awareness and engagement across our priority products with a focus onour mobile consumer audiences. You will manage relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and execute marketing programs to increase brand awareness, engagement, acquisition, and retention for Yahoo products and services
• Manage marketing programs and events targeted to the advertising agency and advertiser communities
• Deliver brilliant campaigns across a business audience with a focus on innovation, impact and performance
• Lead email marketing program including supervising the localization of creative, deployment of emails and reporting of metrics
• Manage monthly advertiser newsletter including development of content, updates and deployment
• Manage Social Media strategy using Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts
• Collaborate with corporate marketing teams to ensure programs are developed and executed consistent with global strategies and standards
• Work with the Research and Insights team to disseminate relevant Yahoo research by developing internal/external go-to-market plans
• Execute plan using internal marketing services and agencies where required
• Managing expenses and supplier invoice tracking including tracking internal procurement processes and procedures
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• 6+ years in related marketing role
• 4-year post secondary degree in Marketing, Business or related field
• Experience managing marketing activities, preferably in the creative, digital, or media industries
• Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning and execution of marketing programs, including forecasting, strategies and tactics
• Experience delivering to business and consumer audiences, including pitching, setting up, and delivering partnerships with other brands
• Experience managing agency relationships and working with internal/external creative groups including creative brief development, copy and creative review
• Deep understanding of social media, digital, and mobile marketing
• Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and influential communication skills are critical
• Excellent cross functional skills and the ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines
