Summary of Position:

Summary of Position:
The Vice President, Business Development for Lionsgate’s OTT ventures will focus on increasing our streaming services distribution footprint domestically and internationally, managing key partnerships across platforms, and developing partnerships to increase awareness and customer acquisition.
• Identifying and prioritizing strategic partners to drive subscriber growth
• Engage partners, negotiate, and execute agreements game consoles, connected devices, device manufacturers, TV, mobile operators, etc.
• Coordinate deliverables and launch objectives across multiple internal teams including product, marketing, legal, finance, etc.
• Identify new types of partnerships that aligns with key verticals – grow subs and increase engagement
• Identify barter and/or marketing partnerships that drive awareness and subscriber growth
• Develop and execute creative partnerships outside of the traditional footprint such as partner promotions and incentives
Experience & Skills:
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience working in business development (media) or content distribution role
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong negotiation and contract skills
• Passionate, demonstrated knowledge of industry and new media
• Relationships with top platforms and channels
• High degree of knowledge regarding subscriber acquisition and performance marketing deals
• Deep technical and digital platform knowledge
• Experience evaluating and framing opportunities, defining value and goals, understanding long term strategies, negotiating agreements, and managing high level relationships
• Experience collaborating with other internal teams such as product, engineering, marketing, legal, finance, and executive team
