Responsibilities
General job purpose is to provide analytical, data mining and reporting functions for Operational Finance. This includes partnering with various business operators and finance areas delivering high quality customer service while influencing decisions and driving financial results. Additional aspect of job includes ensuring department deadlines are met and company policies are adhered to as well as identifying departmental process improvements. Also, provides ad hoc analytics to support business needs including, but not limited to promotional/sales analysis, optimization, competitive industry, commodities, tracking analysis, menu engineering, and strategic initiatives. Candidate must participate in financial reviews with executive leadership.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create and execute automation and data mining requests utilizing SQL, Access and Excel.
• Develop ad hoc and new business programs analysis, ROI’s, and financial models utilizing sensitivity and scenario tools.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of business results utilizing Excel and BI tools.
• Perform in-depth analysis on actual financial performance extending findings to provide meaningful recommendations.
• Oversee and develop key metric forecasts as well as provide budget support based on trends in the business/industry.
Qualifications/Requirements
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree is required.
Master’s degree is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5+ years’ experience in an analytical environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
