Job Description
AOL Platforms is a leading advertising technology company that differentiates itself on performance through its investments in data science, technology and an elite portfolio of strategic partners that provide unique data and mobile inventory to our platform. We are looking for a world-class candidate to help develop high-profile mobile network operator partnerships (i.e. Verizon Wireless) organized around the creation and monetization of data and inventory.
Your job will be to help build long-lasting relationships that deliver win-win outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Developing and prioritizing new business opportunities grounded in rigorous analysis
• Leading cross-functional teams to pursue and/or implement new opportunities
• Providing strategic and analytical support to commercialization efforts as necessary
• Reporting on operational and financial results to internal and external stakeholders
The ideal candidate will have both a corporate strategy background and a business development / strategic partnership background. This person should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, as well as build and convey compelling value propositions. The position also requires strong technical acumen and deep familiarity with advertising technology, audience targeting and on-device and/or in-app publishing.
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of work experience, including at least 2 years of strategic partner management experience in an Internet (ideally mobile & data-oriented advertising technology) or mobile network operator company and at least 2 years in corporate strategy at a leading consulting firm or company.
• BS in a quantitative discipline required; MBA desirable
