Pearson Australia is looking for a highly motivated Content Developer (CD) for 10-month full-time contract within the Higher Education team, based in either Melbourne or Sydney. Working alongside colleagues in portfolio and product management, you will be accountable for the development and delivery of narrative and assessment content for our flagship digital products – MyLabs and Revel. You will ensure that digital content is delivered to quality standard, according to product requirements, within budget and on- schedule.
To be successful in this role, you will need to understand basic web standards, and the broader context of what it means to be digital. You will need to work effectively as part of a large team, and be able to nurture relationships with authors and subject matter experts.
Qualifications
• Experience in developing e-learning content for educational technology products (mandatory)
• Experiencing working with a range of e-learning authoring tools and templates (mandatory)
• Knowledge of educational technology products and trends (preferable)
• Ability to work with high levels of job and task ambiguity (mandatory)
• Ability to balance the demands of multiple projects at different stages of development maintaining quality and consistency across them all (mandatory)
• Highly adaptable problem-solver and critical-thinker (mandatory)
• Strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment (mandatory)
• Understanding of - and experience with – learning and interaction design principles (Preferable)
• Experience briefing content writers or suppliers to deliver content to schedule and product requirements (mandatory)
